With all that is happening, we all need a little more love. That humane feeling in all of us. If there is one thing I have always believed to be a binding force for humanity, it’s summed in four letters— LOVE! It is always a thrill having someone who shares those same views as you.
I know it’s not featured Friday, but I had this chichat— with Mr. Lukman Suleiman, the chairman of 2B designz— and it was an enlightening, lovely conversation. So here, bringing you the goodness and undiluted wisdom.
Before then, however, 2B designz comprises “a dedicated team of Designers, Writers, Strategists, Business Developers, and Account Specialists, who share a common passion for great design….” (Also an Ad agency. Just in case you need their excellent services). 😉

Here’s the little I could extract. Ready…set…read!
Let’s get to know you, please.
Mr. Lukman: Alright! I’m Lukman Suleiman…and I’m a human being. That’s all.
😂😂okay, human being. What do you do? Who really is Lukman Suleiman?
Mr. Lukman: Like I said, Lukman is just a human being. Lukman is someone that sees light, that sees hope in humanity. Who really I am is someone focused to see a better society; a community filled with empowered people, who leverage in opportunities and see the need for growth to thrive in everything.
I’m just a human being who is really, really curious to see other humans grow, and how we can live in a better society. I know I’m used to these kinds of situations whereby things always go bad, but I still see hope.
Interesting views. So, what would you say is one thing that binds humanity? Despite our differences, of course.
Mr. Lukman: Love! (Laughs) Love binds us; it is one thing that unites all of human existence. It has the power to inspire, to encourage and lighten your heart. In fact, to me, it can be the greatest feeling in the whole world.
Lol. Ouuu. I love love, lol.
Why do you think it’s a binding force?
Mr. Lukman: If it’s the thing that binds us, then it is the only language I know how to speak. Love is not selective, just as the light from the sun is not selective— it shines on everyone, everywhere, whoever you are. This is one thing you can give to everyone— big, small, poor, rich… Infact, at some point in time when I wanted to improve on my life, I really wanted to learn to love human beings the same way from the bottom of my heart. Even though I realized that life was going to teach me some of these valuable lessons the hard way, I didn’t let that deter me. I just wanted to love all human beings equally, regardless of whatever/whoever it is. And this is because love is the first thing we have before we become otherwise. Love is such a powerful thing, in the entire mankind.
Wow! I love this. How far has that quest been so far?
Mr. Lukman: So good, you know, so good. There’s something Jim Rohn used to say, “the walls we build around us to keep silence out, also keeps out the joy.” I always feel so excited to love people— genuinely love people without needing anything in return. I feel this is what we are supposed to practice; I just want to be an advocate for it anywhere. Love cleanses us from everything that’s not real and authentic. The more we love, the easier we can connect with every human being on a deep and profound level. Love is who we are. It’s what gives us radiance and power! It makes us feel alive. And if we close our hearts to love, we will die little by little, because love is life and life is love.
If only everyone could have such views, the world would breathe a lot easier.
Okay, let’s spice the love chitchat up a bit. Ever been in love? Yes? Yes? 😁
Mr. Lukman: (laughs) Of course, yes. I have several times, not just once. And I will always, always love no matter what.
Ouuulala several times #wink. Lol.
I’m guessing you’ve tasted the bitter-sweet of the love soup. What’s your drive to keep loving despite?
Mr. Lukman: Oh, common (laughs), love is not a soup that you taste and check for too much salt. The feeling is more like a speeding car with no brakes. The only thing you can do is stir it in directions— whom to love and whole not to. It is part of us; it’s what we live for.
“It is what we live for”. Yeap!
Love is one of the strongest forces— if not the strongest— on earth. What do you think of how paradoxical it can be? You know, loving someone so strong it becomes a weakness.
Mr. Lukman: Well, it depends on how you see it. “Love is a fierce pact” (as Ram Daz once said) because it cracks you open. It makes you vulnerable, but vulnerability does not equal weakness. Jordan Peterson once said “you’re not actually growing up till someone else matters more than you.” People think it’s weakness, but I don’t think it is. Only love can make you donate a kidney or take a bullet for someone you love.
Love doesn’t make us weak, but our perception of it is what has that capability. We find supreme strength in love. Love is the ultimate strength.
Sage! How do you think you can get people to catch this love fire?
Mr. Lukman: Hmm, okay, I usually say it; first, I believe you have to have it inside of you. Before you can actually give/receive love, you have to first love yourself. Secondly, it’s like a magnet— when you have [genuine] love on one hand, and [genuine] love on the other, it ignites a fire. Before you complain of love, ask yourself sincerely “what did I give out for love?”. With this attitude, the love is surely going to flow.
Do you think that love can possibly infiltrate the hearts of humanity some day?
Mr. Lukman: I feel there’s hope for relationships. I truly believe that if you give 100% of love as you feel it, it would come back to you (even if not with that exact person).
Gracias muchos for your time and the input.
Appreciate it✊🏽✊🏽
Mr. Lukman: You’re welcome, Zoey. Thank you for having me.
